Well, The WordPress blog is just the beginning. I think we’d like a forums section if we end up getting some activity on this site. Thanks to 1and1.com for their linux hosting package we also have at least 3 other domains we can register and 2 other mysql databases to use. I know The Wife and I talked about setting up a site devoted to her MaryKay business.
A couple of things to note… until I add some plugins to the blog. I’m going to require registration before you can comment. I’m just trying to avoid “comment spam” which tends to happen alot on blogs and wikis. It’s no big deal, just click the login link in the side-panel and create a username. Wordpress has alot of neat plugins for to make this blog more useable and admin-friendly, it’ll just take some time for me to get them installed. It’s just that it’s late and I know I have a lot of things to do tomorrow.
So if you guys have any suggestions, just create yourself a username and let us know what you think!

I finally got the second computer to work, so I’m going to be playing with the Linux stuff here in a little while… only 10 months late!

If you are a gnome guy, check out the lastest iso of ubuntu-linux. I installed it a couple weeks ago at work on my vm-ware machine. It’s a very easy, “it just works”-type of linux where there isn’t a whole lot of configuration involved.
Don’t get me wrong, I still really like gentoo, but it is for people willing to delve into the heart of linux and hand-configure alot of stuff. If you’re a KDE kinda guy, I’ve been told that SimplyMepis was good, but I haven’t tried it. ubuntu also has a kde-based distro called kubuntu
