If you are a gnome guy, check out the lastest iso of ubuntu-linux. I installed it a couple weeks ago at work on my vm-ware machine. It&#039;s a very easy, &quot;it just works&quot;-type of linux where there isn&#039;t a whole lot of configuration involved.
Don&#039;t get me wrong, I still really like gentoo, but it is for people willing to delve into the heart of linux and hand-configure alot of stuff. If you&#039;re a KDE kinda guy, I&#039;ve been told that SimplyMepis was good, but I haven&#039;t tried it. ubuntu also has a kde-based distro called kubuntu</description>
