I installed it a couple weeks ago at work on my vm-ware machine. It's a very easy, "it just works"-type of linux where there isn't a whole lot of configuration involved. Don't get me wrong, I still really like gentoo, but it is for people willing to delve into the heart of linux and hand-configure alot of stuff. If you're a KDE kinda guy, I've been told that SimplyMepis was good, but I haven't tried it. ubuntu also has a kde-based distro called kubuntu Terry,
