		<description>If you just want to learn your way around, I think ubuntu, xandros, or maybe mandriva(used to be Mandrake) may be your best bets. I&#039;m not saying ignore all the others, it&#039;s just that these are some distros famous for being &quot;user-friendly.&quot; Each distro may or may not have different package managers. It will be important to learn how to use and configure those, so you can get the applications you want. Stay Tuned for some upcoming articles that could help.</description>

Mepis

Haven&#039;t worked with any of them, but I got them now. I think at this point, I&#039;m not interested in the tougher Linux system, just something for me to get used to everything</description>
