Not a good day for the Palomares clan. South Carolina lost to Clemson in a game that SC seemingly controlled and Coastal Carolina lost the Big South conference title and may have lost their playoff spot in 1AA football by losing a heart-breaker to Charleston Southern in double OT. Coastal actually had the game won with :15 left but instead of taking a safety while trying to run the clock out on a punt, the player ran the ball out of bounds on his own 1 yard line with 1.5 seconds left. Charleston Southern immediately scored to tie the game and it went downhill from there.
My sympathies go out to Terry and Jen whose Volunteers lost to lowly Vandy.
I can only hope that my NFL teams win tomorrow….
