Just a couple days after posting about my new favorite read, waiterrant.net has been nominated as a finalist in the 2006 weblog awards under the category, “Best American Weblog.” I glazed over waiter’s competition, and I think that Dooce is probably the closest competition he has. To me, waiter has this thing wrapped up. I thoroughly enjoy each one of his posts and admire his writing style.

I actually nominated some of my Faves on here. The only one that I nominated and that is there is “Chromasia” under Photography. I also have “[Daily Dose of Imagery]” in my feeds - he’s under best Canadian.
I am surprised that the woman taxi driver in NYC is not on her. I haven’t captured her feed, but I think it would be similar to waiterrant (which i will now check out).
I guess I will have to vote again…
