Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! Our Christmas Eve tradition of opening presents at midnight went as it has for the past few years. The youngest ones are too young to stay up all night so they all slept until it was time to open them up. They stayed awake just long enough to open up their presents and say thank-you… and then they were ready to go back to sleep. Jen, Terry and their boys didn’t make it to SC this year, and they are missed, but well do I understand. I was the one to actually break that tradition of the whole family being together last year. It was good seeing Melanie tonight. It seems as if Christmas is the only time I get to see her… and that is truly a shame. Hopefully, we will have some time tomorrow to chat some more. Unfortunately, I have to be back at work on Tuesday.
The boys will be doubling up on goodies this year as they both lost teeth in the past couple of days. We told them that the tooth fairy will be hitching a ride on Santa’s sleigh to our house. I’m pretty excited to see everyone’s reaction in the morning. I think we did a pretty good job this year. Until then, I think I’m gonna try to get some shut-eye. I’ll try to post the goodie list sometime later on. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas.
