The Collector’s Edition of the wildly popular movie Serentiy, was released this past Monday. I have been waiting for about 2 or 3 months for this release! If you guys aren’t familiar with Serenity, the movie is more of a continuation of Firefly, one of the best sci-fi TV series you probably never saw. You can read about its history both HERE and HERE. The director of both the series and the movie is Joss Whedon of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel fame.
I caught on to the Browncoat movement late, so I ended up watching the movie before I saw any of the TV episodes. I was hooked instantly and bought the complete series on DVD as soon as I could find it. You can bet that I’ll be searching for this Collector’s Edition during my lunch break today. If it is at my local Wal-Mart, I know what I’ll be watching tonight!!!!
