As an update to the last post, Philip, a co-worker of mine, told me that something similar happened to his wife just the other morning. Apparently, when his wife, Jen, pulled up to the drive-thru window at a local MacDonald’s to pay for her food, the cashier simply replied, “The lady ahead of you took care of your bill.”
Jen didn’t know the lady. It was just another randomly kind act. Maybe the idea is catching on? Maybe there is hope…
