I’m just starting digging into my family and I would like to find the location of Julian Antonio Chavez’ gravesite. I am his 3rd great granddaughter. I am also a 3rd great granddaughter of Ynacio Machado. At my age, I can only search thru the web, so any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jo Ann

I went to school with jessica and we used to hang out alot… Jessica was the sister I never had and meant alot to me. I spoke with her also the night
before her accident, she explained she missed her mom and missed Loris. When I got to school something didnt feel quite right cause we always met before class and she never showed. When I heard what happened I felt a huge hole in my heart. The night of the viewing I brought my son who loved jess he was only 8 months old at the time when I got to your mom we both were crying so hard my little boy reached out to hold your mom and immediately it was as if she was standing there telling me to quit blubbering tough girls dont cry. Heaven has another angel and my best friend I LOVE and MISS you jessica!!

Good Morning,

My name is Stephen Miller. I’m retired now, so for the last 8 years I’ve had time to work on My Ancestry.

It’s been quite a journey, to say the least. More to the point, I’m interested
to find out who, exactly is buried in the family cemetary.

I am a descendent of the Martinez Family line, that lived and owned most of Walnut, at one time. My great great grandmother “Leonides Chavez y Martinez” is said to be buried in the PALOMARES Cemetery. She was the daughter of Julian Antonio Chavez, of “Chavez Ravine ” Where Dodger stadium is located today. Anyway She was married to a Jose Rafael Martinez, the nephew of John Rowland’s first Wife” Encarnación Martinez ”

My Grt Grandmothe, their Daughter, Was also married to a Martinez, “Antonio de Jesus Martinez” a descendent of Santiago, the reported leader of the Rowland/Workman Wagon Train, from Taos New Mexico.

Now, I just found your site, but I think if I looked hard enough, I’m sure
I could find a connection to the “PALOMARES Family”, since one of the Martinez was Married to a Vejar, in fact it seems the closer I look, every body out there at the time, was related, in one way or another..lol
