This is a limited view of the Palomares Family Tree. Unfortunately, It doesn’t show the Coats or Higgins side of the family, but what I have entered for the Coats and Higgins side IS viewable at the geni.com site. If you don’t see your name, or would like to add to any part of this tree send me an email or let me know via the contact form below and I will be glad to send you an invite to join geni.com and add to the tree.

  2. I’m a Palomares descendent. Maria Carmen Barbara Palomares, daughter of Jose Cristobal Palomares, was my G-G-G-grandmother and married Juan Nepomucino Alvarado. My mother was Lucille Carmen Alvarado. I’ve been doing genealogy for the past few years. Came across your website searching for information on the Palomares back to Spain. Curious as to which line of the family you branch from. Our family is on Table 5 in “Windows of an Old Adobe.” I was married at the Palomares Adobe.
    Hope to hear from you.

Hi,we formed our own clan and we registered it as PALOMARES CLAN ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES (PCAP for brevity ). Our membership is now mainly concentrated in Mindanao and Visayas.Iam the current National President. Iam very much interested to have linkage with your clan and if possible to merge our two clans into one. Very much willing to meet anyone of your group. Thanks

  4. Hey ms.p how is cali going so far?

  5. Ms.p the class and I realy missed you every since you left.

  6. Are you there?

  7. How was the wedding?

  8. Amy guess what the class got a 10 in art with Ms.Edwards today arent you proud of us?!?!

  9. My wife’s grandmother was Josephie Ross,
who was the grand-daughter of Dona Josefa Palomares de Arenas,
    who was Barbara Palomares sister.

So, I also am researching the Palomares family tree.
I have entered some of the family history
from Windows in an Old Adobe,
    into FamilyTreeMaker 2005.

I have some birthdates, including Barbara’s
christening at the Mission Santa Barbara
and her marriage at the Mission San Gabriel.

I also have questions similar to Al Vasquez’
about the Palomares family history back to Spain.
I’m wondering about birth-dates, marriage dates, death dates,
    extended brothers & sisters, etc.

I would be interested if you might share some of your family tree
for inclusion into an extended Palomares Family Tree
to be reposited with the Pomona Historical Society
at their Headquarters in the Old Adobe.

    Thank you.

  10. @Thomas:
Thank you for your reply. Are you a member of Geni.com? If so, the Pro version(pay for) will allow you to easily share your tree with other members. It also has the ability to export your tree in GEDCOM format.

Anyways… I am not a pro member of Geni just yet. I plan to do that in the coming weeks. However I highly recommend you signing up for that site and at least trying out their free membership. It is very well done.

I am also very interested in expanding my tree and/or seeing where it might fit in the large scheme of things.

  11. WOW!!! Ms.Palomares you have a lot of people in your family.

    Your,student DINAH
