Added Wordpress Widgets

I finally updated the blog to support the “widgets” capability in Wordpress. For the most part, I like the cleaner look of the sidebar, however the Widget for the UTW plugin isn’t as clean as I’d like it. Seems to be missing a formatting tag somewhere, but I haven’t the time yet to look into it. As you can see, it seems as if the font for the tag cloud isn’t the same as the list items in the other modules. I’m going to keep it for the time being, but, if I can’t figure out how to clean it up soon, I might revert back to the old way.

Some months ago, the guys over at the Blog for the Sports Gamer pointed me over to Bill Harris’s Blog for a couple of articles he had written about Bethesda Softworks’ Oblivion. Since that time, I’ve been hooked. Not just because he usually writes about games in which I have at least some interest, but his style of writing is great and his personal anectodes are extremely funny. Today, his article on The Art of (T.P.) War was absolutely priceless, and his many articles regarding his son, Eli4.9 are hilarious. If any of you have the time, I highly recommend Bill’s Blog.

My brother-in-law, Terry, has started a photoblog. If you get a chance, stop by and take a look. I really like the gecko. There are some really good photos there. I’m tossing around the idea of an album section on this site. I’ve never taken many pictures, but With the kids and all, I really think it’s important to preserve memories.
